To Be a Princess: Every Girls Dream

Now, don’t be a cynic, ladies please don’t deny that once in your whole life that you’ve had a fantasy about being a princess.
If only for a moment, if only for the thrill of being dubbed Royalty, or meeting your prince charming. Yes, I wont deny I had fantasies of being a fair maiden with a wardrobe of wonderful dresses and a beautiful castle of my own. I also had dreams of being an astronaut, but that’s a subject for another post.

Now, let’s move onto the image of being a princess, you want the smile, you want the hair, and you want the dress?
Well it just so happens that as a Christmas Present of 2012 I was given (courtousy of my mother) was a beautiful original 50s Princess Style Dress.
When I say “Princess Style” I mean princess style, it was originally bought from Pret A Vintage (view the link below.)

The dress is in a beautiful rose pink with very sheer chiffon material long sleeves and nine underskirts to give it that Princess cliche outline. The bodice, selves and skirt of the dress are encrusted  with pink and green sequins, beads and Swarovksi crystals into the style of little flowers.
The high rounded neckline is also detailed with pink edging.

The dress is a classic piece and now has pride of place on my dress makers mannequin in my room.
