Sole Searching: Disability Advocacy and Equality Through Shoes

Greetings Readers!

Have any of you ever been interested in exploring and discussing the topic of disability equality in a new and abstract way?

Below is a truly enlightening and interesting debate from Maria Town US Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy and founder of an online blog known as Sole Searching.

In her debate she addresses many issues that people with disabilities can face when interacting with fashion accessories as a way of necessity and not style.

Her way of addressing disability advocacy is one of a fresh perspective and i encourage you all to take 20 minutes of your time to listen to her experiences and opinions.
