Greetings Readers!

Welcome back to a new exciting blog from me here at fashioneyesta.com!

I apologies from being absent from my blog of recent but I am currently working on some very exciting new projects and I have also re commenced at University and have now begun my third and final year of my BA.

But, I will cease with the excuses as now I back with an exciting blog for you.

Not long ago I went to London Fashion Weekend along with one of my best friends (who is also an amazing photographer) to see the latest trends showcased at Somerset House.

And boy were they amazing!

This year showcased some truly artistic, beautiful and eye catching trends which I am so excited to share with you whilst making them accessible to everyone!

So if you want the lowdown on the hottest styles for this season or just want some inspiration for how to spice up your wardrobe this Autumn,Winter 2014 read on and enjoy!

The Event

The event was the first night of London Fashion Weekend 2014 it hosted some amazing catwalk shows, designers and exhibitors and it had a range of talks and showrooms to visit.

Accessibility

The event is fully accessible to disabled people with mobility aids such as wheelchairs, guide dogs or any other mobility equipment.

The staff are always extremely friendly and will be sure to accommodate you in a place that will suit your needs.

Due to the fact that I am sight impaired with a guide dog I always get given excellent seats where I can easily view the catwalk (the the help of vision aids.)

Below is a full description and explanation of each trend showcased during the catwalk along with descriptions of the outfits.

One and Only Trend

This is about head to toe colour, very bold statement colours along with combination colours. Its about proportion, texture from patent, faux fur and lace.

Look One: Model is wearing a pair of black stiletto heeled boots with pointed toes. Paired with a light pink ling sleeved maxi dress with a high, rounded neckline and pink statement necklace.

Look Two: Model is wearing a pair of nude coloured high heeled sandals which strap in different directions across the feet. Combined with a pair of light rose pink 3/4 length trousers, along with this the model is wearing a fuchsia v neck house. Paired with this the model is wearing a semi fitted, class cut blazer in the same pigment as the trousers.

Look Three: Model is wearing a pair of mink coloured high heeled court shoes. This is paired with a cranberry red lace pencil skirt and a light pink long sleeved round necked blouse. This is finished with a cross body bag in the same pigment as the pencil skirt.

Look Four: Model is wearing a nude coloured pair of high heeled sandals, this is paired with a bright pink pencil skirt. The model is wearing a deep red v neck blouse. To finish the look the model is wearing an oversized mac in the same deep red pigment as the blouse. The mac ha long sleeves and nude detailing to the collar line and zip.

Look Five: Model is wearing a pair of black heeled sandals, this is paired with a deep inky blue boiler suit with 3/4 length sleeves. The boiler suit has a v neckline and button detailing. This is finished with a black waist belt tied up in a casual style.

Look Six: Model is wearing a pair of nude sandals, combined with a black a line skirt and white round necked blouse. Combined with this the model is wearing an oversized trapeze link coat in a mix of inky blue green and black pigments.

Look Seven: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled ankle boots in a leather material with a sheen finish to it. Paired with this the model is wearing  deep inky blue body con dress. Over the top the model is wearing an oversized duck egg blue granddad cardigan with a v neckline and button detailing to the front with long sleeves. The looks finished with a sky blue boxy clutch bag.

Look Eight: Model is wearing a pair of nude coloured heeled sandals paired with a dark greyish blue sleeveless round necked semi fitted dress. With layering to the skirt and a black chunky belt across the hips. This is finished off with a greenish blue rectangular shaped clutch bag.

Look Nine: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled sandals, this is paired with a light pink fishtail dress in a satin like material. Over the top the odel is wearing an oversized trapeze line coat in the same pigment as the dress.

Look Ten: Model is wearing a pair of nude sandals, this is paired with a bandeau maxi dress with is designed to have four different shades of colour in horizontal layers. First a white shade on the bodice, then a aqua blue from the waist to hip, then a deeper shade from the lip to calf and finally a dark inky blue to fish.

Look Eleven: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled sandals, pried with a jade green pair of tailored trousers and a long sleeved round necked emerald green sweater.

Look Twelve: Model is wearing a pair of black heeled sandals paired with a purple dress with a slightly paired skirt and straps in two alternating shades. First it begins in a plum shade and at the hem it finishes in a lighter shade of plum.

Look Thirteen:  Model is wearing a white pair of high heeled shoes which strap across the ankle, this is paired with deep red tailored trousers in a sheen like patterned material. Along with this the model is wearing a deep red roll neck sweater and a deep pink day bag.

Look Fourteen: Model is wearing a pair of nude heeled shoes which strap across the toe and ankle. Combined with this the model is wearing a midi dress which is designed with there different colours. From the left shoulder running cross a large portion of the torso the dress is made of an oxblood velvet material, from that the dress also incorporates a light pink section on the dress running down to a deep red section which runs across the hem line.

Look Fifteen: Model is wearing a pair of black stroppy sandals combined with a pair of plum coloured tailored trousers. Along with this the model is wearing a light pink and white patterned long sleeved round necked jumper which has been designed in a lace affect.

Candy Crush Trend


The candy crush trend is a look that embodies winter pastels, chalky, dreamy shades of cream, pink and blue, faux fur combined with floaty skirts and structured blazers. However, it is not whimsical, its a loo that would make one thing of traveling to a far off fashion land full of hugs of winter shades and beautifully designed clothes.

Look One: Model is wearing a pair of black leather high heeled ankle boots combined with a pair of cream high waisted harine trousers. Along with this the model is wearing a long sleeved light blue round necked sweater and is carrying a nude clutch bag.

Look Two: Model is wearing a pair of white high heeled shoes with an ankle strap and closed toe. Paired with this the model is wearing a light pink circle skirt with two layers of material to give it bulk and shape. On top the model is wearing a sleeveless white chiffon top in a floaty design.

Look Three: Model is wearing a pair of nude colour high heel sandals paired with a very light blue long sleeved wiggle dress with a thin material belt made from a beautiful floral lace material. With detailing to the sleeves and rounded neckline.

Look Four: Model is wearing a pair of nude heeled sandals combined with a knee length flared skirt in a white colour. With this the model is wearing a pearly coloured silk semi fitted top and a white faux fur short sleeved open from coat. To finish the look the model is holding a pearly coloured rectangular clutch bag.

Look Five: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled sandals, paired with a sleeveless halter neck semi fitted dress ending just above the knee in a very light (almost skin coloured) pink. This is paired with a light yellow clutch bag.

Look Six: Model is wearing a pair of nude coloured high heeled sandals combined with a pair of cream coloured tailored trousers, a light blue v neck blouse and over the top a white cardigan and then to finish of the look a faux fur gilet in an ombre affect beginning in light blue and ending in an inky blue.

Look Seven: Model is wearing a pair of white high heeled court shoes paired with a white shirt dress with 3/4 length sleeves a button up front and lace detailing to the bodice  and hem. The hem ends just slightly above the knee and the look is finished with a nude clutch bag.

Look Eight:  Model is wearing a pair of high heeled nude sandals combined with a light grey lace circle skirt ending below the knee. Teamed with this the model is wearing a cream long peeved round necked cardigan and a pair of statement clear crystal earrings.

Look Nine: Model is wearing a pair of black heeled sandals combined with a icy white maxi dress with a shimmery affect which makes it look as if it has been conjured from a Winter wonderland. This is paired with a nude waistcoat with a silk ribbon trim to the collar line.

Look Ten: Model is wearing a pair of grey high heeled shoes with a  light grey maxi dress which is sleeveless with a v neckline  and wrap around detailing to the torso. The look is finished with a light yellow rectangular clutch bag.

Look Eleven: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled mesh material ankle boots paired with a white, sleeveless round necked dress with a nipped in waist and full flared skirt.

Look Twelve: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled shoes with strap detailing from the toe to ankle. This is paired with a white dress and overused nude colour trapeze line coat.

Look Thirteen: Model is wearing a pair of nude evening shoes which strap across the toe and ankle. Combined with this the model is wearing a truly magnificent evening dress in a light wintery blue which drapes across the floor in an asymmetrical hem line. It has silver embellishment to the torso around the waistline and neckline. The neckline itself is designed to be off the shoulders on the left and on the shoulders on the right.

The Jungle Trend

Unleash your wild side this Autumn with this beautiful, artistic and diverse trend which represents a number of classic autumn elements in a new way. In this trend we see autumnal shades of orange, red, brown and green but added with exotic twists to give a bit of spice to your wardrobe for the season. Theres animal prints, leather,  use of layering and structuring and contrasting patterns and colours to make a statement.

The rule is if you look as if you have walked from Kipling’s The Jungle Book you are on the right track!

Look One: Model is wearing a pair of nude colour high heeled shoes paired with a dark orange leather knife pleat skirt. This is teamed with a leopard print waist belt and a black leather skirt to create drama.

Look Two: Model is wearing a pair of nude high heeled sandals paired with an oxblood coloured leather  a link skirt a light brown crochet blouse and a bright orange semi fitted round necked sweater. The look is finished off with a black cross body bag.

Look Three: Model is wearing a pair of nude coloured heeled sandals paired with a leopard print outfit monochrome affect. The sleeveless blouse has a larger leopard print on the torso and a smaller more intricate one of the lose fitting skirt which is loose fitted and ends below the knee with a white underskirt.

Look Four: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled shoes which strap across the toe and ankle, this is combined with a deep amber sleeveless, diamond neckline dress with a flared skirt that begins around the hips. The dress has a black tiger pattern detailed across the torso and skirt and is finished off with a gold boxy clutch bag.

Look Five: Model is wearing a pair of nude high heeled sandals combined with a black a line  leather skirt and a black and white leopard print sweater which is long sleeved and has a rounded neckline with is detailed with a black edging. The look is finished off with two chunky gold bangles  and a deep orange rectangular clutch bag.

Look Six: Model is waring a pair of black leather high heeled ankle boots, teamed with a semi fitted, sleeveless dress which has a metallic affect tiger pattern across it in shades of a gunmetal grey and black. The dress is fished with a hip belt in the same grey black material detailing to the shoulders.

Look Seven: Model is wearing a pair of black heeled shoes which strap across the toe and ankle combined with a khaki maxi dress which is sleeveless with a v neckline and a lighter green blouse is also underneath in a higher v neckline but in a silky material. The drew is finished off with a leopard print amber coloured waist belt.

Look Eight: Model is wearing a pair of black leather ankle boots paired with leather mink shorts , an orange blouse layered under a gunmetal semi fitted high necked blouse and a gold moc croc affect blazer which is open front.

Look Nine: Model is wearing a pair of grey court heel shoes, paired with a mocha colour asymmetric skirt which ends around the ankle at its longest point and begins above the knee at its shortest. This is pair with a overused  sleeveless top in this weaving affect in a light tan colour.

Look Ten: Model is wearing a pair of nude high heeled shoes which have straps running across the foot in different angles. This is paired with a knee length circle skirt with lines of gold, white and black running through them in different levels of thickness. Along with this the model is wearing a deep red round necked, long sleeved sweater and a black cross body bag to complete the look.

The Fairytale Trend

The final and most fabulous out of the trends is without a doubt this next one, inspired by elements of European Folklore, myths and fairy tales the fairy tale trend is one that will surely debacle you and transport you to a magical world. When you are trying to achieve this look its all about floaty skirts, embellishments, capes, faux fur jewel colours and embroidery.

Be decadent, flamboyant and let your wardrobe become a fairy tale realm of its own.

Look One: Model is wearing a pair of black high sealed shoes which strap in different directions across the foot. Paired with this the model is wearing a black lace maxi evening dress which is long sleeved and has a sweetheart neckline. The skirt has a slit at the front exposing the leg. The look is finished of with a large silver waist belt in a lace design and a silver clutch bag.

Look Two: Model is wearing a pair of nude high heeled shoes combined with black trousers in a silky material and a white faux fur crop top. The look is finished off with a black rectangular clutch bag.

Look Three: Model is wearing a pair of nude high heeled shoes with straps in alternating directions, combined with this the model is wearing a pair of copper flared metallic looking trousers. Along with this the model is wearing a blouse which has a black bodice and a from the cleavage line also incorporates a sheer material which covers the arms and shoulders.

The model is also wearing a black v neck top and a oversized trapeze line coat which is long-sleeved and is white from the top to the middle section and then black from the middle to the bottom. The look is finished off with a black statement necklace.

Look Six: Model is wearing a pair of nude heeled shoes  paired with black and white floral print  tailored trousers, a black high necked blouse and a black long sleeved, round necked jacket.

Look Seven: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled leather ankle boots along with a black leather skater dress with a large box to the waist line. This is paired with an oversized grey cape coat and a deep blue boxy clutch bag.

Look Eight: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled shoes with large straps across the ankle and instep of the foot. This is paired with a body con dress which has a black skirt made of a polyester type material. The bodice of the dress has been fashion to look like a red mod croc heart from the waist to above the cleavage. Then a sheer material makes up the rest from cleavage to high neckline. The dress is sleeveless and reaches just aboove the knee.

Look Nine: Model is wearing a pair of white high heeled shoes with pointed toes and a strap across the ankle. This is paired with a light cream full circle skirt made of a lace material reaching just below the knee. This is paired with a light beige colures blouse with is finished with a little cream coloured waist belt (in the same shade as the skirt.) The look is finished with a faux fur beige coloured long sleeved coat in a 60s style with no collar.

Look Ten: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled ankle boots in a leather material combined with a maxi evening dress in a black lace material which is thicker in some places in terms of pattern and sheerer in others particularly around the leg are. The dress has long sleeves and a high neckline. The area around the arms and shoulders is made in a sheerer material.

Look Eleven: Model is wearing of black high heeled shoes combined with a floral print maxi dress in colours of red, black blue and white. The most prominent colour of the dress is white, the skirt is in a knife pleat design giving it a flawy appearance. The look is finished off with a black long sleeved evening jacket with silver detailing to the cuffs, neckline and pockets.

Look Twelve: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled she’s with straps across the toe area and ankle. This is paired with a black evening dress, the skirt is made from a tule material which gives it a ballet style appearance like a tutu. The top part of the dress (the bodice) is strapless and is tight fitting to give the dress the most flattering outline..

Look Thirteen: Model is wearing a pair of black high heeled shoes with three straps one across the ankle, the other across the instep and the last across the toes. This is paired with a dress made from a black lace material which is patterned into little black flowers. The dress is sleekness and has straps, a v neckline  and a full skirt to give the dress a 50s look.

The dress has short sleeves, a rounded neckline and the bottom of the skirt is made from a tule material to make it flare. The prominent cooer of the dress is a light nude coloured The dress is patterned with a deep pink embrodiered floral pattern across the entire dress.

Look Fifteen: Model is wearing a deep red evening dress which is strapless with a full flared skirt reaching the floor and made from a soft satin like material with underskirts to give it body and structure.
