Accessing Literature for Children and Young People With Sight Loss #worldbookday #wordsbeyondsight

Greetings Everyone!

And a very happy World Book Day to you all.

Today in support of this most special day I wanted to share with you a recent video I filmed for my YouTube channel on Accessing Literature for Children and Young people with sight loss.

In this video I talk about my experiences growing up with a sight impairment and how it affected my reading development and how with the support of charities and amazing technology i am now able to read the same books as my peers and have gone onto study a degree in English Literature.

Now I would really love to see you guys to get on board this and to share on your social media sites that you use how important it is that books are made accessible.

So its simple all you have to do is to take a picture of your favourite book that is ideally available in an accessible format like Audio or Kindle and share it with the #wordsbeyondsight.

You can tweet me @DavisonEm.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your continued support and I will see you all next time!

Until Then!
