Montagne Jeunesse Travel Pamper Pack: Review

Greetings Readers!

Welcome back to!

Today I have a review for you all, I said in my last blog that I would be writing one for my next blog as lately my blogs have been more focused on what i have been getting up to which is of course great but I am aware that you beauty junkies need to be satisfied. So, my fellow beauty addicts who have constant cravings for beauty products, this is one for you!

Today I am going to be reviewing the Montagne Jeunesse Travel Pamper Pack. As I am sure many of you know Montagne Jeunesse is a brand that makes lots of different face masks and how they also make body treatments, hair treatments and foot treatments. Out on my travels the other week I came across this little travel pack in my local store and I thought that I would report back with my findings on it.

I just thought this would be an interesting review to those of you who want to have a pamper evening who might be going away for the weekend or who might be on a budget as this set in total is only £5 and you get six products in it to try.

So, without further adieu let’s proceed!

Information On The Product

What Skin Types Can Use It?

  • Dry Skin
  • Oily Skin
  • Sensetive Skin
  • Mature Skin
  • Normal Skin
  • Combination Skin

What You Get

  • A Passion Peel Off Masque
  • An Apricot Skin Smoother
  • 2 n Orange Body Washes
  • A Blueberry Foot Cooler
  • A Lime Oil and Citrus Intensive Spa Hair Masque

The products all come in little individual sachets making them convenient for travel, but slightly less convenient from an accessibility point of view when you are trying to find out what the product is and you have to tear it open to access the product and if its the one you didn’t want you cannot close it shut again.

The products themselves were all equally pleasant during my pamper session, i first started in the shower with the skin smoother which is a body scrub in Apricot and the body wash in a citrus orange which were both very uplifting scents to use especially with this temperate weather at the moment. The scrub itself was great on my skin and the beads in it were quite fine and plentiful so it really helped to remove all of the dead skin, leaving my skin feeling smooth again. The wash was too gentle on the skin and left a scent on my skin long after using it, a first for body washes that i have come across. I then went onto use the hair mask and this was going to be a test because my hair is very long and prone to tangling easily. But, I found this mark perfect for my hair it again has a great uplifting scent of lime and citrus and when applied to damp hair and left for around 10-20 minutes it left my hair feeling smoother and helped to tame my hair and give it some shine and again its a great Summer scent on the hair.

When I got out of the shower I applied the foot mask to my feet which is like a gel consistency which you was off after around 20 minutes, this is an absolute life saver in the Summer especially when your feet feel hot and sore after walking in those wedge or flip flops. it feels wonderfully cooling on the feet and it gives a tingling sensation, when removed it leaves your skin on your feet feeling cool and soft and works long after you have removed it.

Finally, I then finished off with the Passion Fruit Peel Off Mask, now in all honestly i am not the biggest fan of peel offs all of the time and favour their apricot scrub and divine honey mask. However, on this occasion my skin was feeling rather oily especially on my T Zone so this mask did work really well on it. This mask would also work brilliantly if you have any blackheads.

Now onto the final scoring….

Accessibility: 3/5

The products unfortunately are not that great for accessibility in the sense that there is no braille or way to open and close them again if you select the wrong one. There is however good colour distinction and they all have a particular scent and texture.

Ease of Application: 5/5

The products are all relatively easy to apply, some of them like the peel of mask is a little bit sticky afterwards and leaves a residue on your hands that you have to wash off, the same with the foot balm. The hair mask requires you to wash your hair thoroughly after using to ensure that your hair does not become oily quick. However, they are all easy to remove,

Valeu for Money: 5/5

You get 6 products in the pack for £5 which is less than £1 per product, which is perfect for a pamper evening on a budget.

Overall Quality: 5/5

These products were all equally great, they had a great scent they did what they claimed to do and its handy and easy to carry with you. So, all in all a perfect Summer travel pamper pack.

So, thats it for today guys!
