Fashioneyesta’s Current Summer Scented Candles Favourites

Greetings Everyone!

Welcome back to fashioneyesta again!

How are all my lovely followers doing today?

What’s that? Sorry I don’t believe I heard you? You need some scented candle inspiration? Oh well thats a good thing because guess what I’ve got for you all today! Yep, you guess it i’m talking scented candles.

I did a blog on this last year about some of my favourites scented candles as well as a YouTube video which you can check out by clicking here.

But, seeing as I haven’t den one in a while and I have discovered new ones to talk about I thought i would do one again. Being that I am severely sight impaired and have been since birth scent has always been something that i have loved, because for me it creates a wonderful sensory experience and opens a door into the outside world. So, naturally…i do have one, or two, or three, or maybe even 20 of them….And do I stop at that, no i still look for more!

Smells are a significant thing in my life because when i small them they can transport me back to a different time and place all together and they conjure up strong memories, most of which are wonderful memories like holidays away, birthday’s, time with friends and family and doing the things I love the most.

But, today I am going to be sharing with you all what my good old nose has been loving.

So here we go!

Check out the video below

1. True Grace Cucumber Candle

Price: £16

This candle is a very fresh, clean smell and very reminiscent of salads, diving alfresco, summer picnics that really criss scent when you slice open a Cucumber. It is perfect for hot summer evenings, cooking a Greek style meal, or relaxing with a beverage. It is one of my all time favourite scents for the Spring/Summer because it is so fresh, clean and realistic and whenever i turn it I crave salad so much! Well that some Pizza and a glass of Prosecco.

2. True Grace Vine Tomato Candle

Price: £16

The next is very similar to the Cucumber Candle in the sense that is is a very fresh, sharp and food scent and is very much like something you would expect to smell after picking tomatoes of a tomato plant like we do in our house. It is perfect again for a Summer’s evening and for me it reminds me of being back in Capri in Italy with the smell of fresh Pizza baking, salads on the table and nothing but the balmy heat and the sound of the waves lapping against the shore.

3. True Grace Wild Mint Candle

Price: £16

The next scent is very much like the thing you would smell after picking the leaves from a mint bush if you have a herb garden by your back door and when you rub it against your hand and the smell lingers on your skin. Such a wonderful scent and it revokes memories of my childhood, helping to dig the soil for planting herbs. I utterly adore this scent and I burn this a lot in my room in the evening because it is a very clean, earthy kind of scent and the are my complete and utter favourites.

4. Yankee Candles Summer Scoop

Price: £8.99

Link: Click here

This is a perfect scent for anyone who has got a sweet tooth, it is made to smell like strawberry ice-cream mixed with berries and believe me it smells as good as it sounds! I usually burn this in the morning for a little pick me up. This one reminds me of the many picnics in the garden and times spent at the park when I used to get a little ice cream from the cafe in my local with my grandparents. It is such a sweet scent and very nostalgic if you used to eat a lot of ice cream as a child in the Summer.

5. Jo Malone Sweet Almond and Macaroon Candle

Price: £42

Link: Click here

This is probably one of the more indulgent candles I have used, it is not a cheap candle to put it bluntly but the sent of this particular one is absolutely incredible. It smells just like a patisserie, it is a very nutty, sugary, warm scent and perfect to burn on a weekend Summer morning when you want something a little more sweeter in your life.

So, thank you all very much for reading my blog today, do comment down below and let me know what your favourite scented candles are at the moment I would love to know.

And I will see you all next time!
