Spring Makeup

Greetings Readers!

The sun is shining brighter, the little heads of budding blooms are popping up from the earth and that can only mean one thing, Spring is here.

So, I thought I would share with you all a video of how I will be doing my makeup for Spring.

For me, Spring is a time of new beginnings, so I think that should be translated into our makeup. Spring makeup is all about that dewy finish to the face, creating that luminosity with a good skincare routine, brightening primer and a foundation and concealer that adds radiance to the skin. Spring is also a time to be wearing the pastel shades like a touch of pastel green on the eye like I am wearing with my look or a soft pink lip colour on the lips.

My look is all about brining luminosity to the skin with my YSL Touche Eclat Foundation, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, Soap and Glory Hocus Focus Highlighter and a soft pink blush from the Elf Beautifully Bare Total Face Palette.

For eyes I went with a blend of greens to create a whimsical look using the Sleek Garden of Eden Palette and the Madam Glam Tinkerbell Eyeshadow. I added the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara to create full, voluminous lashes and the Urban Decay Brow Pencil to fill in my brows to make them look natural.

Lastly for lips I added the Charlotte Tilbury Stoned Rose Lipstick which is a beautiful brown toned pink colour to create a healthy flush to my lips that would compliment the green eyeshadow.
