Lush Halloween and Autumn Products 2016

Greetings Readers!

Welcome back to!

The nights are now drawing in, theres a distinct chill in the air, the leaves are turning colour and the farms are abundant with rich harvest fruits. Autumn is finally here and with the month of October Halloween is slowly but surely creeping up on us.

So for todays blog I’m going to be sharing with you what Lush have released for Autumn and Halloween 2016. For those of you who don’t follow my other social media, you might not know this but I now work for my local Lush! I work for Lush Bromley as a sales assistant (do come and see me if your local to the area.) Over the past few weeks I’ve had chance to really understand the company and the new launches for Halloween and Christmas this year. So, I really wanted to relay this here on my blog, I’ve bene a die hard Lush fan for a number of years, pretty much since my blog began 4 years ago. Lush is one of my favourite things to talk about on my blog and Autumn is my all time favourite season. So I felt it was only right to make a blog talking about the Lush Halloween range, as Lush have brought out some amazing products this year.

So, without further adieu lets get this show on the road!

I also filmed a Lush Halloween and Autumn Haul over on my channel which went live this morning, which can be viewed below.

Lush have released ten individual Halloween and Autumn products this year, an assortment of knot wraps and three Halloween gifts. One called Pumpkin, another called Little Monster and the third called Magic Wand. But, for todays blog I am going to be concentrating mainly on the individual products, however they can also be found in gift sets at Lush too if you want to give them as a gift for Halloween.

Now, onto the products…

Autumn Leaf Bath Bomb

Price: £3.75

This first one is defiantly one of my absolute favourites from the range this year and when I first saw it I went utterly crackers! Its a bath bomb in the shape of an Autumn Leaf with colours of yellow, green and an orangey red shade. When you put this into your bath it turns the water a mixture of beautiful shades of red, yellow and green the mimic the changing Autumn leaves. Its made with notes of Sandalwood, Neroli Oil, Bergamot Oil and Japanese Maple Sap. You may recognise this scent if you’re a fan of the Lush Grass fragrance as its the same scent as that. Its a beautiful earthy fragrance which is reminiscent of walking on a rainy day in Autumn through the Autumn leaves and mossy undergrowth. Its utterly stunning and luckily enough this is one that is going to be available at Christmas too!

Monsters’ Ball Bath Bomb

Price: £4.25

This little guy has been somewhat of a scarlet pimpernel in the Lush Bromley store, because every time I went in for a shift with hopes to purchase him he was always out of stock! But, finally I have one in my clutches and let me tell you he was worth the wait! He’s a little lilac coloured monster with one eye peeking out as you. This Monsters’ ball is an uplifting bend of Neroli Oil, Lime Oil, Olibanum Oil and Fair Trade Cocoa Butter to soften the skin. He’s perfect to use if you need a little pick me up. It turns your water a beautiful cocktail of lilac and aqua blue. Another reason I love him is because of the fact he’s only got one eye and I’m partially sighted I feel an affinity with him. We can be like little bath buddies with our use of one eye each. One thing you have to know about me is that I do love making light out of my disability and well the joke was there I had to go for it!

Pumpkin Bath Bomb

Price: £3.95

This one is perfect for those of you who like the more spicy fragrances that Lush offer like Twilight or Luxury Lush Pud. This charming little bath bomb is fashioned to look like a traditional carved pumpkin with a leering face from the Halloween tales of old. Pop him in your bath and you’ll be entreated with a spicy blend of Cinnamon, Vanilla Absolute and Pimento Berry Oil to evoke the scent of freshly baked pumpkin pie. This bath bomb will fizz up into a deep orange colour, leaving you to relax and unwind with an audio book and a cup of something hot as Autumn wind rages outside your bathroom window.

Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb

Price: £3.95

This bath bomb has been a cult classic for Lush’s Halloween range for the last few years and this year Lord of Misrule has returned to join our bath time sessions. This green bath bomb with a crown embossed on it is inspired by the Pagan tradition of the Feast of Fools. Its made with a spicy blend of Patchouli Oil, Black Pepper Oil and Vanilla Absolute. When you add this to your bath it fizzes up to turn the water a rich burgundy colour as the warm blend works to help you unwind and bask in its goodness.

Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar

Sparkly Pumpkin has been a part of the Lush Halloween range for the last two years and I’m so pleased its back for a third year running! This is my all time favourite from the entire Lush Autumn/Winter range, the scent is utterly incredible. This little bubble bar is shaped like a pumpkin with gold glitter added for some shimmer. Its blended with an uplifting blend of Lime Oil, Juniperberry Oil and Grapefruit Oil to give it a punchy, fragrant scent that fills your bathroom. You just take some of this, crumble it under running water and it turns your bath water into an orange shimmering oasis of goodness! Seriously if you only try one thing on account of this blog, I would highly recommend this.

Boo Bath Melt

This little guy is utterly adorable, he’s a little ghost bath melt. This little guy is made with Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter to soften and condition the skin. Its also made with a calming blend of Ginger Oil, Mimosa Absolute, Geranium Oil, Sicilian Mandarin Oil and a hint of Sandalwood. Simply take this and hold it under running water and it will gradually melt into the water to create a silky bath water that will hydrate the skin and calm the spirits. Get it? Spirits? See what I did there?

Goth Fairy Shimmer Bar

This little cutie has been dubbed as Snow Fairy’s Little Sister, this little shimmer bar is a moisturising bar of goodness packed with Gold Lusture to give your skin a bit of sparkle this Autumn. Its blended with skin softening ingredients of Almond Oil,
lllipe butter Cupuacu Butter. But its also got a fruity blend of Grapefruit and Bergamot to uplift you before you hit the town for your halloween party this October. I utterly love the scent of this and my gosh if you like glitter and looking shimmery you need Goth Fairy on your side!

If you simply can’t get enough of the Lord of Misrule fragrance and you just want more then this is defiantly for you. Its also made with Organic Wheatgerm Oil to soften the skin too.

Fireside Soap

This soap is made with a warm and spicy blend of Clove Bud Oil, Chestnut Flour, Pimento Berry Oil and Vanilla Absolute to mimic the scent of roasting chestnuts on the fire. Its also packed with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil to soften the skin. This soap is also aesthetically pleasing to with a red base and orange flames designed on the inside to give it the appearance of a roaring fire. Its a very spicy blend, so perfect for those of you who like the spicy fragrances like the Pumpkin Bath Bomb.

Magic Wand Soap

Price: £3.50 (per 100g)

Now, if you prefer more zesty fragrances as opposed to spicy blends you may prefer this soap. In the shop this soap actually looks like a large wand which is cut up depending on how many grams you want. This soap is made with Charcoal to detoxify the skin and Tangerine Oil and Pomegranate Molasses to give it an uplifting fragrance. Its also got Rapeseed and Coconut Oil to soften the skin. This is perfect as a morning fragrance with its zesty aroma and the charcoal to get rid of any impurities (also great if your feeling the affects of a Halloween party the night before if you catch my drift).

So, that concludes my blog for today, I really hope you liked it and you’ve got some ideas of things you might like to try from Lush for Halloween.

Also do be sure to let me know what is your favourite product from the Lush Halloween range, please subscribe to my blog if you haven’t already and I will see you all next time!
