Outfit of the Day: Boho Chic

Greetings Readers!

How is life treating everyone?

Today I wanted to share a fashion related blog. I don't feel like I've posted an outfit of the day post in such a long time. So today I thought I'd chat about what I wore to an event I attended in London. Feel Unique Hosted their #TopVlogger Fest in London to announce the finalists of the competition. I was lucky enough to get to the second stage of the competition and so was kindly invited to attend the event. It was a really great day, with lots of fun festival things like flower crowns, makeovers with Ilimasqa, hair braiding, cocktails and food. I also got to meet some lovely people too from other blogs and YouTube channels which was so much fun. Now, I did have a bit of a screaming fit when I saw what the style inspiration for the event which was Boho Chic!

I'm a boho girl at heart and a large percentage of my attire is bohemian inspired, so this was pretty much like a usual day for me. But, I was able to really accentuate my makeup look for the event, after all it was a beauty event.

For my dress I went with this classic white semi fitted dress from Zara. The dress has pom pom detailing to the hem, cut out flower material and puffball long sleeves. The neckline is a low v, so I did have to wear a little vest underneath. It also had two long tassels dangling either side of the neckline. I recently featured this dress in my key pieces for Summer haul which you can view by clicking here.

My shoes, well guys you've seen them a thousand times on this blog. I swear I should get shares from the company for always showing them in my blogs. Its the gold t-bar shoes from Miss L Fire. They are my go to blogger event shoes, they are so comfortable and easy to wear and they pair so well with so many of my outfits.

My bag is a new addition to my collection and its my first ever Kate Spade bag! Its such a classic design with a little boho touch. The bag is a small cross body bad in tan, although its literally like a Mary Poppins bag as you can squeeze so much in it. Its in an oval shape with multi coloured studs circling the outside. It also has a tan tassel with gold detailing hanging from it. I simply love this bag, its so classic and easy to wear with different outfits. But I thought it looked great with the gold tones in this outfit.

For jewellery I went for accents of gold. My ring is a gold band Hamsa Hand ring with crystal detailing from Anouska Woods London. I also added a metallic tattoo in this paisley design with accents of teal blue, I got this from a set from Primark. Good old Primark, eh?

I also went with a selection of 3 necklaces which I stacked in size order, because nothing say boho to me like stacking necklaces. The smallest was a gold sun pendant from Thomas Sabo, the second was a Dream Catcher pendant with pearl detailing from Etsy and the longest necklace is a new one I got for my birthday from Thomas Sabo. Its a large Hamsa Hand Pendant with gem detailing and is hung of a beaded necklace in warm rust colour.
