What’s In It For Me? Products: Review

Greetings Readers!

I was recently sent some products to try from the new brand What[s In It For Me? The brand is a Sister brand to the well known Anatomicals. What[s In It For Me features a range of beauty products which are created to make you feel spoiled. The ethos of the brand is to really appeal to that self-indulgent nature we all have within us. The range has a variety of products including body care, haircare and skincare products. I was sent the Body Scrub and Hand wash to try and review, so today i’m going to give you some of my thoughts on them.

I want to first of all begin by saying that the brand is cruelty free and contains a variety of ingredients depending n which product you pick. The brand uses things like essential oils and natural butters and oils. I also love the packaging of the brand which features a crisp white design background with clear black font. From an accessibility point as someone with a visual impairment, it also makes the product details easy to read as well. But, I also love the design as i think it gives it a more high end feel, without the high end price tag.

Body Scrub

The first product I want to talk about is the body scrub, now you know me I love a body scrub its one of my favourite shower time products to use. The What’s In It For Me? Body Scrub is a refreshing blend of Sea Salt to soften and detoxify the skin, Eucalyptus Oil to refresh, Rose Oil to Soothe and Ginger Oil to stimulate the blood circulation. I really loved this scrub because it wasn’t too harsh on the skin, the exfoliant beads in it were well rounded so that didn’t irritate or dry out the skin. This body scrub is also perfect to use if you wear fake tan, as it will give your skin a light buffing to remove dead skin. But, its not too harsh that it will strip your skin. Its also got a very lovely, delicate scent, I personally can’t smell the Eucalyptus, but I can smell the soft floral Rose scent. I personally love this body scrub when I still want to give my skin a light exfoliation when my skin is feeling particularly dry.

Next, I shall move onto the hand wash, again for me hand wash is always great to have in the bathroom for when guests come or when you need to give your hands a freshening up. Can I just start by saying that the scent of this hand wash positively blew me away. The hand wash is a fresh, citrusy blend of Lime, Lemon, Ginger and a little Aloe Vera to soothe the skin. This hand wash smelt like a Summers cocktail and I could still smell the product on my hands for a while after washing them. It didn’t dry out my hands like a lot of hand washes do, of course I still had to apply hand cream after use.But thats a standard ritual for me anyway, just like I have a skincare routine for my face, I have one for my hands. But, my gosh the scent of this is incredible if you are a fan of citrus scents I think you will absolutely love this hand wash. I love this hand wash because it incorporates one of my favourite scents, limes and believe me you can really smell the limes in this hand wash.

So, those are my thoughts on the products I tried. From first impressions, I really like the brand I love the scents, the quality of the products is very good for the price point and they are easy to use. I would recommend checking out this brand if you are looking for some new everyday beauty products to use in your routine.
