Welcome back to fashioneyesta.com!
I hope you are all well and prospering. Today I have a blog on one of my favourite beauty topics, brows. Now you all know how I feel about eyebrows, they are an incredibly essential feature to the face and I’m incredibly fastidious about my brow routine. Today I wanted to share with you all some of my current favourite brow products that I’ve been using over the past few weeks. Some of them are newly discovered products and some are ones that I’ve been using for a long time.
Now lets talk brows!
To start off I want to address a question that a lot of people ask me as a natural redhead, what brow colour do I use? As when you have red hair it can be very difficult to find a brow colour that matches your brows. Now, I personally get my eyebrows tinted, as my eyebrows are more on the blonde side. So, they tend to be a little darker, so I find that the shade Taupe is usually the best shade that corresponds to my skin tone and hair colour.
The first product I want to talk about is a pretty new discovery and its The BrowGal Skinny Eyebrow Pencil. This pencil is available in seven different shades and features a thin brow pencil on one side and a brow brush on the other to comb the product through. This brow pencil is perfect for those days when you simply want to fill in your brows and create small hair like strokes to mimic your brow hairs. It’s very quick and easy to use, it can be softened by using the comb to merge in with your brows. The lid also includes a sharpener which is incredibly useful making it travel friendly for when you are on the go.

The next product is by Anastasia Beverly Hills and its the Dipbrow Pomade. Now this is like a tinted brow wax that you apply to your brows to give definition to the brows. Its more of a statement look for your brows and its something I tend to use when I really want to create an arch in my brows. It’s very quick to use with a slanted eyeliner brush, I tend to find that I only need to dip my brush in a few times to fill in my brows. My only comment on this product is that I tend to find it dries up very quickly. Other than tat I think it’s a great brow product and it comes eleven different shades.

My next favourite is from the brand Gosh, Gosh is an amazing affordable cruelty free and Vegan friendly drugstore brand. I’ve been obsessed with their Lift & Highlight double-sided pencil in 01 Nude. This is essentially a contour a highlight pencil to add definition to your brow bone. One side is a matte light contour shade to add structure to your brow bone and the other side is a highlight shade to highlight the brow bone. I love using this if I’m really creating a statement makeup look. It’s very natural looking once you blend it out and really helps to crave out your eyebrows and accentuate your features. It comes in two shades which is its only setback, but the actual product itself is very creamy and east to blend.

The next two products I have to talk about are brow gels, the first is by Urban Decay. This is called the Brow Tamer Brow Gel and it’s essentially a tinted brow gel. I simply comb it through my eyebrows to help keep them in place, however it’s also tinted to help thicken my eyebrows. I tend to use it when my eyebrows are in need of a tinting session, I comb a little of it through my lashes and then either leave it there or add a brow pencil for extra definition. It’s very easy to use and the actual brush itself features fine, small bristles which makes it very simply to use. It comes in four shades as well as a clear finish.

Finally, the last product I’ve been using a lot in my brow routine is the Rapid Brow Everyday Enhancing Serum. Now this was sent to me a few weeks ago to try, it’s essentially a brow serum that you apply to your brows twice a day and it claims to help thicken your brows in 60 days. One brow is always a little more sparse than the others, so I’m eager to see if it makes a difference. You know how it is one eyebrow is always on point and the other is lagging It’s still a little to early to tell if its making a difference to my brows as of yet. But, it does make a good brow setting gel and I will persevere to see the results. I have noticed my brows seem a little fuller, espeically my left brow which is notoriosuly the more sparse one out of the two. So, I am really looking forward to seeing how I get on with this over the next two months. I will do a more in depth review of it once I have had a longer period to try the product.
