One of the first products I ever used from Charlotte Tilbury was the Pillow Talk Lip Cheat, its been one of Charlotte Tilbury’s cult products. It’s a beautiful shade, a mauve toned pinkish nude which is perfect fo an everyday colour. But, earlier last year Charlotte Tilbury expanded on the lip liner and brought out an entire collection inspired by the iconic Pillow Talk shade.
The Lip Cheat
Of course there is the classic Pillow Talk Lip Cheat, this lip liner is honestly my go-to nude and I don’t think I wear many other nude lip liners. The mauve nude pigment is absolutely stunning. It’s such a classic, elegant shade and it really works well with a variety of nude lip colours. The formula is one of my favourites, being so easy to blend and creamy in texture.

Charlotte Tilbury has also since brought out a Matte Revolution Lipstick in the corresponding shade which I also have.
The next edition is one that is currently out of stock online, but I do hope that Charlotte Tilbury do a restock of it like they have with other things in the collection. The Superstar lipstick range is a collection of shades which have been formulated to give a glossy finish to the lips. They are a lot more glossy on the lips and if you prefer a more hydrating texture you would probably like this formula. The Pillow Talk shade really adds a healthy look to the lip and gives the lip a kind of plumping effect. What I love about the Superstar lips is that it gives you the colour payoff of a lipstick with the finish of a lip gloss. It looks so flattering on the lips lasts for a good amount of time and wears very well.

The Pillow Talk Luxury Palette
The next product in the collection and probably the most raved about from what I’ve seen is the Luxury Eyeshadow Palette. This palette has been so popular ever since it first was launched and it was like gold dust to get hold of. But, finally I managed to get one. I’ve loved the Luxury Eyeshadow Palettes for years and have a collection of 8 of them now. The Pillow Talk Palette is supposed to give you that soft, wide-eyed and Romantic makeup look.
Swatches (Top to Bottom)
Prime: A pale satin, shimmery pink.
Enhance: A brown toned mauve pink (this shade being the closest to the original Pillow Talk shade)
Pop: A shimmery light rose gold shade.
Smoke: A mid tone brown toned pink shade.
The shades are a lot more subtle than some of her other palettes, it’s a mixture of rose golds and nude pink shades. The shades really work in synergy with each other and blend very easily. I did notice a little fallout when I used the darkest shade in the palette, but other than that I did find it very easy to apply. The Pop shade in this palette is especially stunning and I love the finished result of the look. I definitely would recommend this palette if you like subtle eyeshadow looks, with a hint of pink and rose gold. It’s such a gorgeous palette and has shot to my most favourite palette among my collection of them.

The Chic to Chic Blusher
The final product in the Pillow Talk collection and perhaps my most favourite, is the Chic to Chic Blusher. These blushers have two shades, the outer shade you apply to the cheeks and the inner shade you apply just to the apples of the cheeks. This almost gives your cheeks a sculpted look and adds a touch of contour to them. I love the flattering, nude tones in this blusher. Having pale skin, finding blushers can be very taxing at times. But, this blusher really does give my skin that healthy glow. It’s such a flattering shade and is perfect for an everyday colour, this shade especially is very easy to blend.
The shade seamlessly fades into my skin and really adds a touch of warmth to my pale skin.
