Welcome back to my blog, today I have the second instalment of my gift guide series. Today I’ll be sharing my Christmas gift guide for her, this guide contains predominantly beauty and self care items along with some jewellery for anyone who wants to really treat that special someone.
So, without further ado let’s begin!
My first picks are from a Seol+Gold, a jewellery brand that has a range of simple, classic pieces in both silver and gold. They have a range of jewellery for different tastes and they have some beautiful star themed pieces.
9ct Gold Star Compass Signet Ring
Signet rings are a great gift to give to someone who likes more understated jewellery or equally for those people who like to stack their rings. This ring is 9ct gold and features a compass star design. It’s a really classy piece of jewellery and would make a lovely gift for anyone you want to spoil this year.
9ct Crescent Moon Stud Earrings
These earrings are understated and delicate they would be a perfect gift for someone who is of a younger age and can only wear studs to school perhaps. They feature a crescent moon design with tiny drop charms.
Ren Face Trio Gift Set
Ren is one of my favourite skincare brands, they are a cruelty free and clean skincare brand. So they are a great option for gifts for anyone who is vegan or who prefers clean beauty brands. This gift set features a beautiful design of sea turtles from their new artwork for 2019. Inside you get 3 mini face masks including the Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Face Mask, the Evercalm Ultimate Comfort Face Mask and the Clarimatte Invisible Pores Detox Mask. I have used both the Glycol Lactic Mask and the Evercalm Ultimate Comfort Mask and they do wonders for the skin. This would be a good gift for anyone who wants to explore Ren as a brand or who enjoys trying new face masks.
Drunk Elephant Midi Committee Gift Set
The next pick is from Drunk Elephant, I’m sure many of you beauty enthusiasts will have heard of this brand. They took the UK by storm earlier this year and anyone who loves skincare will surely have something from Drunk Elephant in their skincare routine. They are a cruelty free skincare brand who don’t use silicones, essential oils, chemical screens, SLS, drying alcohols, and fragrances. The brand is a little more on the higher price range, so this would make a great gift for anyone who wants to try out the brand and see what they like. This gift set contains minis of their Protini Polypeptide Cream, A-Passioni Retinol Cream, B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum, Slaai Makeup Melting Butter Cleanser and exfoliating Bamboo Booster. It all comes presented in a cute little draw and they also offer other gift sets for Christmas 2019.
Lush Merry Christmas Gift Set
Another honourable mention from Lush. But Lush are so convenient for gifts because they already come wrapped and they do a great range of gifts. This is the Merry Christmas gift set and inside you get the Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb, the Christ the Camel Bath Bomb and the Snow Fairy Bath Bomb. The wrapping is very vibrant and fun and it would make a great gift for anyone who likes very colourful bath bombs.
L’Occitane Luxury Almond Collection
Price: £59 (worth £70)
The next gift idea is from L’Occitane, at this time of year they do some lovely gift sets in their different scents and ranges. But one thing I love about L’Occitane is that they include braille on their packaging. This gift set is their Luxury Almond Collection which is presented in a festive red box with their quirky design for Christmas 2019. Inside the box you get a hand cream, a full sized body concentrate, a full sized shower oil and a hand soap all in the almond scent. The almond scent is very comforting and hydrating, however the scent is not overpowering.
Yardley Hand Moisturiser with Hand Gloves Set
Who doesn’t love hand creams? The next gift idea is from Yardley, a very traditional English brand. The set contains 3 hand creams in the scents Lilly of the Valley, English Rose and English Lavender. It also contains a pair of moisturising hand gloves and its all presented in very pretty floral print packaging. For £10 its great value for money and would make a great gift for mothers, grandmothers or anyone who likes floral fragrances.
Tropic So Sleepy Temple and Pillow Collection
This next gift idea would be great for that person who you feel really need to relax and unwind this Christmas. Maybe for people with very busy lives or students with a lot of studying to do. This gift is from Tropic a cruelty free, fresh and naturally made beauty brand that offer an array of products from makeup to skincare. This gift set contains their So Sleepy Pillow Mist and Temple Balm, presented in a beautiful box. They contains relaxing ingredients like lavender, chamomile and frankincense.
DAFNI go Hair Straightening Brush
Price: £79 (price various on different retailers)
The next item is more of a big ticket item if you are looking to really treat someone. Hair straightening brushes? You might be wondering if they actually work and the answer is yes they do indeed. This one is from DAFNI and having tried it out myself and on my curly haired mother I can conclude that it does work. It’s travel friendly, it comes in a travel case and its really quick and easy to use. It’s quick to heat up and it doesn’t do as much damage to the hair as normal hair straighteners would. It straightens and styles hair in very quick time and you can even use it to shape your hair and give it volume. It would make a fabulous gift for anyone with curly hair or who wants an alternative to using hair straighteners.
Charlotte Tilbury Starry Eyes to Hypnotise Eyeshadow Palette
The final pick and the star of the show today is this gorgeous limited edition palette from Charlotte Tilbury. Now this palette really does scream luxury, the packaging has a beautiful blue design detailed with Swarovski crystals. The palette features 12 shades, 4 different looks: Happy Glow, Love Glow, Dream Glow and Seduce Glow. The palette has a beautiful range of shades from golds, pinks, greens and greys. This would be a beautiful gift for anyone who loves Charlotte Tilbury.
So that concludes todays instalment of my gift guide series, I really hope you found it useful.
Let me know in the comments what thing out of this gift guide you like most and I will see you all next time.
