Autumn Lookbook 2013

Autumn lookbook cover

As the nights begin to draw near.

And as the wind does blow.

As the leaves to fall and conkers appear.

Autumn is on the rise, as that wise squirrel does know.

The lanterns are out with their jovial smiles alight.

The bonfire is alit and streets are full of the scent.

Autumn is such a pretty sight.

And om my mind does itself indent….

Take a trip into Autumn with me and see some of the key looks that I will be wearing this Autumn season. As the lookbook expands new brands and designers will be featured, look upon my work as a guide to this autumn season and as sustenance for your thoughts on what outfits you too can put together for the beginning of the Autumnal Equinox.

Look One: Walking a Four Legged Friend

Walking down memory lane and saluting some of my traditional favourites of autumn will be a massive part of my wardrobe. Wearing clothing in pigments of purples, reds, burnt oranges, and browns will mimic the beauty of the season and will also show a harmony with nature. Wearing prints that show whimsical animals from the running fox to the hooting owl will also be on the cards for this season. And of course the quintessential wax coat and wellington boots.

These pictures show me walking my dog Unity in a casual but autumnal outfit that very much has a joules, country inspired feel to it.

Feminine cuts, pencil skirts, pussy bow blouses,  off the shoulder necklines, pleated skirts and flared skirts are all the rage this year for 2013/2013. Designers such as Nina Ricci and Prada are presenting their latest catwalk fashions inspired by fifties glamour and styles that shows off those curves.

My outfit shows me wearing a pencil dress that is very current and can be bought from ASOS now, along with some timeless classic pieces.
