Greetings Readers, enjoying the sun I hope?
Now in the 1940s things that matched were considered highly important. One could not have a red shade of lipstick that clashed with their black market nail polish, disguised as ladder stop might I add.

But, today I cannot go out sporting a matching two piece suit, so instead I have settled for a lovely hand painted Jute bag and matching t shirt.
My mother, Emma and the designer of the beautiful hand painted scene bags that she now has named ‘Emilyem Originals: Art on a Bag’ has painted me another bag that has reigned triumphant.
The bag depicts me as a 1940s pin up girl sitting on an British Seashore along with a picnic hamper groaning with treats and in the distance you can see all of the quintessential elements of the British Coast a helter scelter, circus tent, sea gulls, and my dog Unity sniffing around in the distance.
The T Shirt matches this also with my mothers brand name “Emily-em Originals” on the top.
