Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blushers: Review and Swatches*

18th October 2019

A review and swatches of the Daniel Sandler watercolour blushers.

Greetings Readers!

Today I wanted to share a brief review of a beauty product that I have been a huge lover of for a number of years now. Today I’m going to be talking about the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blushers. I was spurred on to write about after being sent a six new shades from Daniel Sandler’s PR team which I was incredibly excited about. For another blush formula to explore, see my Pixi On-the-Glow blush review and swatches.

I have been a huge fan of Daniel Sandler’s Watercolour Blushers for years, the shades Cherub and Angel being among some of my favourites. But, I have six new shades to talk about today and I wanted to tell you why I’m such a fan of these blushers.

These blushers work a little differently, they are liquid blushers that act like watercolour paints in that you only need to use a small amount and they require blending to merge them into the skin. They are a liquid pigment, you shake them to mix the pigment together before applying them. You then take a drop onto a synthetic bristle brush and work it into your cheeks. This gives you a really beautiful dewy and fresh complexion which works perfectly if you have dry or mature skin or if you prefer a more natural look to your complexion.

They come in a variety of shades in both matte and shimmer finishes, however the shimmer in the shimmer shades is never overpowering. You can either use the blushers individually or mix the blushers together to create a bespoke shade. You only need to use one drop for each cheek, meaning that the blushers will last for ages.

I utterly adore these for the finish they give to the skin and how easy they are to blend. They just blend so flawlessly and out of all the liquid blushers I’ve used these are by far some of the easiest to blend.

Swatches

Daniel Sandler Watercolour blushers swatches my
From top to bottom.

Elegance: A peached toned highlighter shade.

Caress: A matte peach toned shade.

Grace: A coral toned shimmer shade.

Crush: A vibrant coral shade in a matte finish.

Divine: A raspberry matte pink shade.

Tease: A deep raspberry pink shimmer shade.

In this photo I am wearing the shade Caress.

I’d say if you prefer a natural, everyday look go with a shade that mimics the colour you naturally blush in a matte finish. But if you prefer something a little more glowy for an evening out go for one of shades with a shimmer finish for a shimmery look.

They are definitely worth a try and they are by far one of my favourite products that I always fall back on to give me a fresh and healthy glow to my skin.

My Rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.
