Changing Perceptions on Sight Loss in Style

Today I wanted to feature a collection of blushers that I was recently sent by Pixi. I’m a huge lover of Pixi, specifically their skincare and complexion ranges. They really do have a grasp of how to give the complexion that radiant glow which…let’s face it, we all yearn for!
Pixi have 3 On-the-Glow Blusher Sticks which are essentially twist up blushers in a balm consistency. They are made with Ginseng and Aloe Vera and have a similar feel to their On-the-Glow Moisturiser Stick. They work to give the skin a light tint, whilst moisturising the skin.
I’ll be honest I’ve never been so excited to try a product. I really love blushers and I’m a huge fan of cream blushers. These are different from any other liquid or cream blusher that I’ve tried. The balm formula means they don’t dry quickly on the skin, so you have more time to blend them in. One thing I hate about liquid and cream blushers is that you have to be very quick in blending them in, for fear of getting the dreaded splotched look to your cheeks. You know what I mean, the one where you end up looking like a Clown!
These are so easy to blend and they actually do what they promise to do. They give the skin a radiant glow, with a fresh tint of colour. I can see these being a hit with those who have drier or more mature skin, the formula is so flattering and really gives the skin a soft focus glow.
Juicy: a soft coral.
Fleur: a dusky pink.
Ruby: a berry toned deep pink.
Personally I loved all of the shades, they all gave a really healthy tint to the skin. I especially loved Juicy as I think its a very befitting shade to wear for Summer with the coral tones. Whereas Fleur is very soft and delicate. Ruby was a little more intense and being the darkest of the shades gave the skin a noticeable flush. I would say if you have pale skin like me apply Ruby very sparingly, as a little goes a long way. Having said that I can see myself wearing the Ruby shade a lot during the Autumn months to accompany my berry tones.
All in all I really think this product is a hands down a winner. They look beautiful on the skin, the formula feels hydrating but yet not greasy and they blend very well.
I really hope that Pixi release more shades to the line in the future.
