Today I wanted to share a new launch that L’Occitane recently came out with in September in partnership with Unicef.
As some of you may know I’m a big fan of L’Occitane as a brand for a number of reasons. They are the only beauty brand that I am aware of who currently add braille on their products and packaging ever since they were first founded. Something that I am a huge advocate for as a visually impaired beauty blogger. They’ve been involved in a number of charitable projects surrounding sight loss. You may remember last years Solidarity Candle in collaboration with Unicef that I talked about.
Well this year L’Occitane have come out with 3 new gift sets to raise funds for Unicef for a charitable project to help children in developing countries living with sight loss.

Every year 250,000 to 500,000 children in developing counties loose their sight due to a lack of Vitamin A. Vitamin A is a vital part of children’s development and in some developing counties Vitamin A deficiency is the leading cause of blindness.
L’Occitane and its charitable foundation have created 3 gift sets to raise funds for Unicef to supply Vitamin A to children in these developing counties.
These see gifts are beautifully presented, they come in beautifully designed hat boxes and include a range of travel sized products to try. They would make a great gift for a birthday or Christmas.

I have the Botanical Secrets gift set which L’Occitane very kindly sent me. This gift set comes in a sage green box decorated with a botanical print. Inside you get a variety of products from the Verbena and Herbae range. If you like fresh, clean scents you would love this particular variety of products. Verbena has zesty notes of lemon and Herbae has fresh notes of grass, rose and bramble.

All in all, I think this is great new launch for anyone who wants to raise money for a good cause, whilst giving someone a beautifully presented gift. The variety of products is great for anyone who wants to explore more of what L’Occitane has to offer and support a good cause too.
